Fragment – ORIGINAL TYPEFACE SYSTEM
「Fragment」は、完成されていたタイポグラフィ・システムを、独自に開発したアルゴリズムを持ったプログラムによって解体することから始まる。その解体された形態は、散乱し、見慣れないものとなる。首尾一貫したアルファベットとして始まったものは、分解され、可読性が取り除かれ、視覚的素材として用いられ再構成される。
これらの断片化された形は、偶然と意図という、目には映らない関係性の中で再構成されていく。偶然の断裂や破壊だけでなく、作家の意図的な破壊や再構成のアイデアから新しい形が生まれる。断片的でありながら意図的であり、支離滅裂でありながら、どこか共鳴的である。
これは混沌への回帰ではなく、作家の根源的な衝動と共に新しい形を再構築する試みである。文字という機能性から離れ、静かに、空間的、構造的に新しい様子をみせている。

Fragment begins with the dismantling of a once-complete typographic system by a program equipped with its own unique algorithm. Through this process, the coherent forms are scattered, becoming unfamiliar and abstract. What originated as a unified alphabet is broken down, stripped of legibility, and reassembled as raw visual material.
These fragmented forms are reconstructed through an invisible passage of time that drifts between chance and intent. The ruptures emerge not only from randomness or destruction, but also from the artist’s deliberate acts of deconstruction and recomposition. They are fragmented yet intentional, incoherent yet somehow resonant.
This is not a return to chaos, but a reconstruction of form driven by primal impulse. No longer functioning merely as typography, it now reveals a new presence—quiet, spatial, and structural.
